Summer Sing Camp a Resounding Success!

Our recent Summer Sing with KCC featured 38 campers with terrific attitudes, work ethic, and talent. They memorized three new songs to present to their parents and family members on Friday morning.

During the week, the campers rehearsed their music, participated in music skills class, ate snack, and competed against each other in a game of Simon.

Many thanks go to Tammy Wright (director), Sarah Smith (musicianship teacher), and Raymonde Rougier (accompanist) from our KCC staff. Their activities and rehearsing really paid off on Friday morning at our "Informance".

Parents and family members were delighted by the campers' music selections and their demonstration of their music reading ability.

Ms. Smith projected a song that the campers had never seen. They read that melody on solfege, added words and played a game associated with it.

We can't wait until next year! Registration will open in January, 2025.
