Do you know a child who likes to sing and perform? He or she may be just right for the KCC! We will hold open auditions for all singers ages 8-18 on Saturday, June 1 at Wright State University from 10am-2pm.
Singers do not need to prepare anything in advance. They will be asked to vocalize to show their highest and lowest notes, demonstrate pitch-matching, and older singers will be asked to sight-read a line of music.
Families can arrive at the Creative Arts Center any time between 10am-2pm and should plan on spending about 30-45 minutes (depending on the number of singers auditioning). Most often, singers will be informed of the director's decision that day. If your child is accepted into one of our choirs, the director will contact each family with more details about registration and tuition payment.
